We ("Smart Automation App", "we", "us", or "our") are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
Our App is designed to automate tasks on your device locally. To function correctly, the App requires certain permissions, including sensitive permissions. All data accessed through these permissions is processed locally on your device and is NOT transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
Why we need this: We use these permissions exclusively for the "Incoming Call Trigger" feature. This allows the App to detect when you receive a call so it can trigger the automated actions (like changing volume, turning on Do Not Disturb, etc.) that you have configured.
Data Usage: The App only checks the incoming call status to trigger explicitly set automations. We DO NOT record calls, we DO NOT save your call history externally, and we DO NOT share this information.
Why we need this: This permission is used strictly in conjunction with the Incoming Call Trigger. It allows you to select specific contacts from your phonebook so that automations only trigger when those specific people call you.
Data Usage: Your contacts are accessed locally on your device solely for the purpose of matching incoming caller IDs to your configured triggers. We DO NOT upload, store, or share your contact list.
Why we need this: Required for Location-based triggers (Geofencing) and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth automation triggers (Android requires location permission to scan for networks).
Data Usage: Location data is used locally to determine if you have entered or exited a configured zone. We do not track your location history remotely.
The App does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.
Because the App operates locally, your triggers, profiles, and associated data (such as selected contacts or location zones) are stored entirely on your device's local database (Room/SQLite). You can delete all this data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or uninstalling the App.
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
